Dr Ash Rahman has been passionate about General Practice ever since his early days working in tertiary hospitals where he encountered many patients with preventable health conditions. As such, he is a firm believer of “prevention is better than cure” in order to promote the best outcomes for the community.
He has previously worked as a Senior Resident Medical Officer at Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals in the busy departments of paediatrics, emergency medicine, neurology, general medicine and surgery. Furthermore, with experience working as a GP in Bathurst, Orange and Parkes NSW, he has grown a passion for treating patients with complex and chronic diseases holistically from the perspectives of both physical and mental wellbeing.
As a General Practitioner, Dr Ash enjoys all aspects of family medicine and chronic disease management, as well as clinic-based surgical procedures (e.g. skin lesion excision, Implanon insertion and removal) and also holds a Professional Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine.
Dr Ash enjoys travelling and experiencing new places and cuisines with his young family.
